Real Madrid's talisman, Jude Bellingham, has incurred a severe penalty for verbally berating referee Jesús Gil Manzano following the clash against Valencia (2:2).

Despite Real Madrid's appeal, seeking to overturn the Englishman's red card, Bellingham has been banned for two matches. Consequently, the English maestro will be absent in the upcoming La Liga fixtures against Celta Vigo and Osasuna.

Recall that in the dying moments of the match, Brahim Diaz delivered a cross into the penalty area, and just as the ball hung in the air, Manzano blew the final whistle. Immediately thereafter, Jude Bellingham executed a header, scoring a goal that was poised to secure victory for Real Madrid.

Post the final whistle, Real Madrid players confronted the referee, leading to Bellingham receiving a red card, a decision the club attempted to contest.

La Liga, acknowledging Manzano's erroneous actions, has suspended him indefinitely from officiating.

In the current season, spanning 30 matches, Bellingham has notched an impressive tally of 20 goals and provided 8 assists.
