The agent of Italian national team midfielder has spoken out about his client's future at Arsenal

The agent of the Italian national team and Arsenal midfielder, Jorginho, Joao Santos, has spoken about his client's future at the London club. The agent also assessed the likelihood of the midfielder returning to Italy.

Jorginho's contract with the Gunners expires at the end of the current season and has not yet been extended. The North London club has the option to renew the player's agreement, but it is currently unknown whether it will be activated.

Jorginho has been playing in the Premier League since the summer of 2018 when he followed Maurizio Sarri from Napoli to Chelsea for €57 million. Then, in January 2023, the Italian-Brazilian midfielder moved to Arsenal for €11.3 million.

In the current campaign, the 32-year-old midfielder has been an important player in Mikel Arteta's setup. The Italian-Brazilian has played 28 matches in all competitions, scoring one goal and providing one assist.

Earlier it was reported that Arsenal are ready to say goodbye to their midfielder, who is claimed by two Spanish clubs.
