The 2025 Cameroonian Ballon d'Or winner will not be called up for the Indomitable Lions' training camp during the upcoming international break

Serge Daura is reportedly not part of manager David Pagou’s plans for the FIFA Series, in which Cameroon will compete in Australia.

This is yet another blow for the Gazelle FA striker in Cameroon’s Elite One. Crowned Cameroon’s Player of the Year for 2025 at the end of February, Serge Daura will be left out of the Cameroon national team’s next squad.

Having not been called up for the training camp for local players organised by the Indomitable Lions’ manager from 6 to 10 March in Yaoundé, he will also be absent from the Indomitable Lions’ gathering in Australia during the FIFA window. David Pagou will not include him in the squad list he is about to publish, according to local media reports. The reasons are not yet known.

Serge Daura, a striker for Gazelle FA, has scored two goals in four appearances this season in Cameroon’s Elite One.
