A historic day for Manchester City fans.

Details: Today, Manchester City's official X page announced that 46-year-old Italian coach Enzo Maresca has officially taken over as the team's new head coach.

It is reported that Maresca has signed a three-year contract with Manchester City. Enzo replaces outgoing Pep Guardiola, who spent a decade at the club.

Maresca previously worked on Guardiola’s coaching staff before deciding to launch his own managerial career. Enzo had stints as head coach at Leicester and London’s Chelsea, though he did not stay long at either club.

Maresca’s most recent club was Chelsea, which he left in January of this year.
