Details: Earlier today, Al Wahda announced on their official X (formerly Twitter) page that 35-year-old Belgian striker Christian Benteke has officially joined the club.
Benteke moves to Al Wahda as a free agent after his contract with American side D.C. United expired.
The agreement between Benteke and Al Wahda runs until 2027.
Throughout his career, Benteke has played for clubs such as Kortrijk, Standard Liège, Genk, Aston Villa, Liverpool, Crystal Palace, and the aforementioned D.C. United.
