Villarreal is losing one of the squad's most loyal warriors.
Details: Today, the official X page of Spanish club Villarreal announced that 37-year-old central midfielder Dani Parejo will leave the team at the end of the season.

It is reported that Parejo and Villarreal have decided not to renew his contract, allowing the Spaniard to depart as a free agent.
Dani Parejo joined the “Yellow Submarine” in 2020 from Valencia for €2.25 million. He has made 269 appearances for Villarreal, scoring 16 goals and providing 36 assists. With Villarreal, Parejo lifted the Europa League trophy and reached the Champions League semi-finals in the 2021/22 season.
Parejo’s current market value is estimated at €1.2 million by Transfermarkt.
