Details: Today, Villarreal's official account on social network X announced that the team's 60-year-old Spanish head coach Marcelino will step down at the end of the season.
Villarreal's management has decided not to renew Marcelino's contract, which expires this summer, but emphasized their deep appreciation for his work and expressed their gratitude for his achievements at the helm of the team.

Marcelino took charge of Villarreal in 2023. This was his second stint with the Yellow Submarine, having previously managed the club from 2013 to 2016.
