Thabo Cele is on the wanted list of Mamelodi Sundowns after his Kaizer Chiefs exit.
Cele is now a free agent after mutually agreeing to terminate his contract at Amakhosi.
The former Bafana Bafana midfielder started the season frozen out at the club after coach Fernando da Cruz said he is not part of his plans.
Now Sundowns have shown interest in him and so are Kwa-Zulu Natal side AmaZulu.
The midfielder's talent is not in doubt as he was one of Chiefs' outstanding players last season with his unmatched technical ability in midfield.
A disagreement between him and club management saw him decide to leave the Soweto club and now it's rumuored he may end up at Sundowns or AmaZulu.
