Terrifying scenes again! Musiala collapses on the pitch for the second time in three days
Jamal Musiala has once again made the football world hold its breath.
Details: According to Polymarket Sports, the 23-year-old Bayern Munich midfielder collapsed on the pitch during today's friendly against Heidenheim at the Voith Arena and was forced to leave the match. Alarming footage shows the German international being escorted off the field by the club's medical staff.
This is already the second such episode in just three days. On Saturday, August 15, Musiala lost consciousness near the end of the friendly against RB Leipzig (3-1), only minutes after coming off the bench and scoring in the 81st minute. Back then, teammate Ismael Saibari managed to catch the falling star before the medical staff rushed to his aid, while reports in Germany pointed to sudden dizziness amid sweltering heat of over 30 degrees Celsius in Munich.
After Saturday's scare, Bayern's sporting director Max Eberl tried to calm everyone down: 'The most important thing is that he is fine.' The midfielder even returned to individual training after undergoing medical tests, but today's relapse turns a worrying incident into a full-blown concern for the club.
It's worth noting that last summer Musiala fractured his leg in the Club World Cup match against PSG and only returned to Bundesliga action in early 2026. Bayern kick off their new season on August 22 with the German Super Cup clash against Borussia Dortmund.
Reminder: Transfer intrigue in the Premier League! Aston Villa resume talks for Bayern midfielder.
