Teofimo Lopez named the winner of the fight between Lomachenko and Kambosos

The current WBO junior welterweight champion Teofimo Lopez spoke about the expected fight between Vasily Lomachenko and George Kambosos from Australia, whom he himself previously met in the ring.

“Lomachenko will win. Kambosos can say whatever he wants, but he's just making money. Kambosos lives in Australia, so he doesn’t even have to go somewhere and give the United States 40% of the fee. Do you know what I mean? The fight will take place at his home. So it’s just making money,” said Theo Lopez.

Lomachenko, in his last fight, the result of which was considered scandalous, lost by unanimous decision to the absolute world lightweight champion Devin Haney from the USA.

Kambosos won a split decision against Briton Maxi Hughes in July 2023. With this he closed the second defeat from Haney.

Earlier, Teofimo Lopez challenged Crawford to a fight in a daring manner.
