Al Ahly won 2-0 against El Gouna in their Egyptian Premier League match on Wednesday at Cairo International Stadium. Emam Ashour, who is in great form, scored both goals. This win put Al Ahly back at the top of the league with 18 points, one point ahead of Pyramids, who are in second place. Meanwhile, El Gouna is still struggling near the bottom of the table with only six points.

However, the win was marred by a heated argument between Al Ahly players Yasser Ibrahim and Hussein El Shahat during the game. The two players got into a shouting match after Ibrahim felt El Shahat didn’t pass the ball when he should have. Ibrahim was heard yelling, "You just want to fight for no reason."

Fans have been talking a lot about the dispute, particularly after a video of the event went viral. Mohamed Ramadan, the sports director of Al Ahly, has stated that the team will investigate the incident and take the required actions to ensure that it doesn't occur again.

The match also featured controversy as El Gouna demanded a penalty for a collision between Marwan Mohsen and Al Ahly’s Ramy Rabia, adding further drama to the encounter.

Al Ahly is still focused on sustaining their winning league season in spite of the turmoil.
