The relationship between Ousmane Dembele and the PSG coaching staff has hit a serious snag.

Details: According to After RMC, a genuine conflict has erupted between the French star forward and Paris boss Luis Enrique. The club’s officially announced one-week break for the player is, in reality, a disciplinary measure in disguise. The fact that PSG management issued a special statement specifying the exact date of Dembele’s return to training—set for Monday—confirms that this situation goes beyond a routine recovery period.

The main source of discord was the coaching staff’s decision regarding the match against Aston Villa. Dembele had expected to be in the starting lineup and even trained individually during his holiday to ensure peak fitness. However, the coaches benched him, sparking the player’s discontent. With tensions rising, the possibility of the star winger leaving the reigning French champions can no longer be ruled out.

It’s worth noting that the 29-year-old Frenchman joined PSG in the summer of 2023, and his current contract runs through the end of June 2028. The reputable portal Transfermarkt values the player at €100 million.

Reminder: Alarm in Paris! PSG's main star will miss the big clash against Lille
