Tennis star Iga Świątek shares a photo from the polling station during Poland's presidential election

Polish tennis ace Iga Świątek fulfilled her civic duty by heading to a polling station to cast her vote for her chosen presidential candidate in Poland. The athlete posted a corresponding photo on her Instagram page.

Świątek shared a snapshot showing her dropping her ballot into the voting box, complementing the image with the hashtag “#important”.
Notably, Świątek is currently not in Poland, so she visited a polling station in Paris, where she is now based as she gears up for the upcoming Roland Garros tournament.
It's worth noting that Świątek made an early exit from the WTA 1000 tournament in Rome, suffering a surprise defeat in the third round. In Paris, she will be defending her Roland Garros champion’s crown, having claimed the title for three consecutive years. She boasts four French Open trophies in total and also captured the US Open title in 2022.
The Polish tennis star has triumphed at 22 WTA tournaments and clinched a bronze medal in singles at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
