Manchester United coach Erik ten Hag does not lose heart and believes that his team is on the right path.
In a conversation with the official website of the Red Devils, the Dutch coach spoke about the situation in the team after the defeat to Newcastle with a score of 0:1.
According to the specialist, last week his team obtained two positive results, with one negative.
“I think the team is moving in the right direction. In the games against Galatasaray and Everton we were able to show our level and scored beautiful goals.
We didn't play at our best level against Newcastle. We didn't like the level of our football, but we still stayed in the game until the last moment. If we were a little lucky, we had a chance to grab a draw.
At the end of the match we had the opportunity to do this and if we had been a little more decisive, we would have had a point. We have dropped a little in the Premier League standings, but the difference is not that big,” said ten Hag.
