Ten Hag reflects on achievements at United and what he misses most
In November 2024, Manchester United dismissed Erik ten Hag as head coach. Now, the Dutchman has shared his thoughts on his accomplishments at the club.
Details: Ten Hag stated that while Manchester United achieved a lot under his leadership, there is always room for improvement.
Quote: “We had many achievements at Man United, but as I always say—there is always room for improvement. Being good is not enough,” Ten Hag said.
He also admitted that the only thing he truly misses is Old Trafford. Meanwhile, Ten Hag has previously revealed when he will be ready to return to coaching.
Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund had considered appointing Ten Hag as their head coach. However, that will not happen, as the financial package required to sign him is currently too costly for Dortmund. Additionally, Ten Hag remains on Manchester United’s payroll.
Reminder: In their financial report, Manchester United officially disclosed the severance payment made to Ten Hag and his coaching staff. As previously reported by the media, the payout amounted to £14.5 million.
