Taylor Fritz shows sweet support for girlfriend during her illness
Morgan Riddle, the girlfriend of tennis star Taylor Fritz, recently shared details of her health struggles, as reported by The Sun. She revealed that she was battling a serious stomach illness, norovirus.
Although Fritz couldn't be by her side at the time, he made sure to show his support from afar. He sent her a bouquet of flowers along with a heartfelt note wishing her a speedy recovery. In addition, Fritz also sent Morgan a sweatshirt with the phrase "My stomach hurts, but I'm hanging in there."
Morgan shared on social media, "Taylor got me this millenial-a** sweatshirt and he thought it was so funny (he doesn't understand internet culture so we will give him grace). But today felt like a good time to wear it."
Taylor and Morgan have been together since June 2020 when they met via a dating app.
As for Fritz, the 27-year-old tennis player finished the current season ranked 4th in the ATP rankings, his highest-ever career placement. He also reached the final of the ATP Finals, where he was defeated by Jannik Sinner.
