TS Galaxy are in a financial mess.
Reports suggest the South African Revenue Service, Sars, has secured a default judgment against the club as they plan to collect a sum of R66-million owed by the team.
Online news outlet Africandaily reports that the large sums owed by TS Galaxy have the potential of crippling the Mpumalanga-based team.
“So far we may have paid them over R9 million. We are negotiating with them to reach a compromise on the amount owed,” said chairman Tim Sukazi as per Africandaily.
It is also reported that Sukazi's team has been making half a million rand payment with Sars over the past few months which is what shocked Sukazi on the default judgement the revenue service has secured.
