Tanzanian giants Yanga SC approach South African coach Fadlu Davids for their vacant position
Fadlu Davids has been approached by Tanzania's Young African to fill their vacant coaching position.
Davids is currently club-less after being sacked by Moroccan giants in Raja Casablanca following a string of poor results last month.
Ironically, he joined Raja after a sting at Yanga's chief rivals in Simba SC.
Yanga started the season under Portuguese man in Pedro Gonçalves who was let go by the team and technical director Abdihamid Moallin now oversees the team on interim basis.
Davids is earmarked for the role ahead of the new season and it will not be an environment he is not familiar with as he was in charge of Yanga's rivals, Simbs SC earlier in this campaign.
Yanga are on top of the NBC Premier League where they are trying to fend off the challenge by Simba to the title.
They need a win in their last league game to clinch their 27th Tanzanian League title and should they win it, Davids will be in charge of the defending champions next season.
The ball is now in his court.
