Synchronized victories for Arsenal and Man City. The teams continue their pursuit of Liverpool

Arsenal hosted Southampton in London as part of the Premier League’s 7th round, while Manchester City faced Fulham at the Etihad.

The "Gunners" delivered a lackluster first half, with both teams heading into the break without any goals.

Early in the second half, Southampton even managed to put the ball in Arsenal's net. However, Arsenal came back strongly, scoring three times to secure the win thanks to goals from Kai Havertz, Gabriel Martinelli, and Bukayo Saka.

In the parallel match, Manchester City earned a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Fulham. The "Cottagers" took a surprising lead, but City responded with three goals.

A brace from Mateo Kovačić and a strike by Jeremy Doku secured the three points for the "Citizens." Fulham kept fighting and scored again through Rodrigo Muniz, but the late goal didn’t affect the outcome.

Both Arsenal and City remain in pursuit of league leaders Liverpool, who previously defeated Crystal Palace and are one point ahead.
