The Swiss hockey world has been rocked by a sensational resignation.
Details: The country's hockey federation has officially parted ways with national team head coach Patrick Fischer.
The drastic decision comes after the 50-year-old coach admitted to using a fake vaccination certificate to attend the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. Swiss authorities fined him around 39,000 francs (about 50,000 dollars) for document forgery.
His successor, Jan Cadieux, will now take over the team on an emergency basis.
Reminder: Former NHL player Bill Riley has passed away at the age of 75.
