Boxing star Oleksandr Usyk showed his tender side by sharing a personal photo with his mother in an Instagram story.
The athlete posted this picture for a special reason: to honor Mother's Day and congratulate his mom. He captioned the photo with the words “Happy Mother’s Day 365,” hinting that every day of the year is Mother’s Day.
It’s worth noting that Oleksandr’s mother is named Nadezhda Petrovna, and she has always played a significant role in her son’s sporting career. From early childhood, she supported Oleksandr’s boxing pursuits, providing a reliable foundation at home.
Additionally, Usyk’s parents have long been living in Spain together with their grandchildren, Oleksandr’s sons.
The Ukrainian boxer is now preparing for a showdown for the undisputed world heavyweight championship against Daniel Dubois. The details are set: the fight will take place at London’s Wembley Stadium on July 19, 2025.
As a reminder, last year Usyk defeated Tyson Fury twice. He also previously beat Daniel Dubois—their bout took place in August 2023 in Wrocław, where the Ukrainian secured a knockout victory in the ninth round.
