The world's number one, Iga Swiatek from Poland, continued her winning streak at the WTA 1000 tournament on the hard courts of Dubai, UAE.

In the round of 16, the Polish player defeated Elina Svitolina from Ukraine, who ranks 20th in the WTA standings, in straight sets.
