Surprising Update on The Tunisian Ali Maaloul’s Future at Al Ahly

Ali Maaloul, the Tunisian left-back for Al Ahly, has shared some news about his future with the team. His contract is going to end at the end of this season, and there's some doubt because he's been out with an injury since the CAF Champions League final.

A sports journalist named Saif Zahir said that people close to Maaloul have been asking about his situation, especially about renewing his contract. Maaloul answered, “Al Ahly wants to renew my contract, and there’s no problem.”

When asked about what Al Ahly’s sporting director, Mohamed Ramadan, said about Maaloul’s future depending on his performance, Maaloul confidently said, “If I don’t play well, I won’t stay, but I’m sure Al Ahly will renew my contract.”

Earlier, Ramadan had suggested that this might be Maaloul’s last season, with the club looking at how he plays after his injury to decide his future.
