Details: According to Catalunya Radio, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez helped Barcelona register Dani Olmo. It was Perez who called the president of the CSD requesting a temporary permit for the midfielder to play.

Despite the strained relations due to the Negreira case, Real Madrid's president helped Joan Laporta reclaim the position of Barcelona's president in 2021. Incidentally, Perez and Laporta maintain a warm relationship with each other.
