The French winger has received his biggest opportunity of this World Cup.

Details: According to L’Équipe, Désiré Doué is expected to be in France’s starting lineup for the World Cup semifinal against Spain. The official lineups have not been released yet, but the PSG winger is considered the frontrunner for the left wing position in attack.

Doué is expected to form an attacking quartet alongside Michael Olise, Ousmane Dembélé, and Kylian Mbappé. As a result, Bradley Barcola will most likely begin the match on the bench.

Doué impressed the coaching staff with his energetic and effective display in the quarterfinal against Morocco. France secured a 2-0 victory, with the young star providing an assist.

Reminder: Problems ahead of the semifinal? Key France players miss training.
