Manchester United defender Harry Maguire spent his Monday evening at Bramall Lane, where he watched from the stands as Sheffield United faced Bristol City in a crucial play-off clash for Premier League promotion, as reported by the Mirror.

Sheffield United made light work of Bristol City, cruising to a 3-0 victory and advancing to the play-off final. There, they will meet the winner of the Sunderland vs Coventry City tie, which takes place later this evening. The final is set to be played at Wembley on May 24.

Maguire's appearance at the stadium was no coincidence, as he previously played for Sheffield United. He was with the Blades from 2011 to 2014 before moving to Hull City for €3.15 million. During his tenure at Sheffield United, Maguire made 166 appearances, scoring 12 goals and providing 10 assists.

This season, Maguire has featured in 37 matches across all competitions for Manchester United, netting 4 goals and supplying 1 assist. With the Red Devils, he has also reached the Europa League final, where they will face another English side, Tottenham.
