Orlando Pirates are four games behind Mamelodi Sundowns, who are comfortably leading the PSL standings with 51 points. Ndzuzo, a former Sundowns midfielder, has expressed concerns over Masandawana's fixture congestion, even if both teams are involved in the PSL, Nedbank Cup, and CAF Champions League.

Speaking to GOAL, Ndzuzo criticized the PSL’s scheduling, arguing that Sundowns are overworked while the Pirates benefit from extra rest. “This situation is looking very bad for the PSL. It means the best league in Africa cannot plan,” he stated, highlighting Royal AM’s unresolved issues as another example of poor organization.

Sundowns have had a relentless schedule, while Pirates have seen multiple games postponed, including their clashes with Royal AM due to a SARS dispute and Golden Arrows due to a waterlogged pitch. While games in hand seem like an advantage, Ndzuzo warns that playing catch-up later could harm Pirates’ title ambitions.

Ronwen Williams, Aubrey Modiba, and Dennis Onyango are among the main players that Sundowns will have to deal with as they get ready for their crucial matchup against Kaizer Chiefs in the Gauteng Derby. The Chiefs, who are also without Gaston Sirino, will try to take advantage of their opponents' weariness in a game that might affect the championship race.
