Details: According to insider Florian Plettenberg, the potential arrival of Karim Adeyemi at Barcelona could lead to the departure of Roony Bardghji. The German forward from Borussia Dortmund is being considered by the Catalan club as a possible replacement for the Swedish winger.
Reports suggest that Adeyemi has already spoken with Hansi Flick and is eager to join Barcelona. For the Catalans, this could be a key move in rebuilding their attacking options, but it simultaneously casts doubt over Bardghji’s future.
No final decision has been made on Roony yet, but Adeyemi’s arrival would almost certainly intensify competition on the flanks. In this scenario, the Swede could be allowed to leave if the club needs to free up a spot or include him in negotiations.
It’s worth noting that Bardghji joined Barcelona in the summer of 2025 and is under contract with the club until 2029. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is estimated at 15 million euros.
