Subtle dig: Arsenal defender trolls Gyökeres after scoring against Sporting

Arsenal travelled to face Sporting CP in the 5th round of the UEFA Champions League group stage.

The first half was far from competitive, as the Gunners scored three unanswered goals against their Portuguese opponents in the opening 45 minutes.

Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhães scored the third goal just before halftime. He celebrated by mimicking Sporting's top scorer Viktor Gyökeres’ signature celebration, covering his face with his hands.

Notably, Sporting recently stunned Manchester City with a 4-1 victory, where Gyökeres netted a hat-trick.

Interestingly, the Swedish forward was linked with a move to Arsenal last summer, but the transfer negotiations ultimately fell through.
