Beck was sent off following a scuffle where he tried to prove he had been bitten, but the referee didn’t believe him at the time and dismissed him from the field.
However, after reviewing video footage, the Football Association (FA) opened a case against the Preston forward. TV replays showed that 25-year-old Osmajić bit Beck on the upper back.
Osmajić has until Monday, September 30, to respond, the FA announced. Otherwise, he risks a lengthy suspension.
