Stuttgart have signed one of the Bundesliga's top scorers for a record-breaking fee
In a single transfer window, Stuttgart has already acquired its second striker.
Today, Stuttgart officially announced the signing of central forward Deniz Undav from Brighton. The 28-year-old has signed a three-year contract with the "Swabians."
Stuttgart paid Brighton €28 million plus bonuses for Undav, making him the most expensive player in the club's history.
Last season, Undav played for Stuttgart on loan, where he impressed with 18 goals and 10 assists in 30 matches. He was also included in Germany's squad for Euro 2024, although he did not feature in the tournament.
Earlier this summer, Stuttgart set its previous transfer record by purchasing forward Ermedin Demirović from Augsburg for €21 million.
It's worth noting that this summer, Stuttgart sold their top scorer, Serhou Guirassy, to Borussia Dortmund.
Stuttgart sensationally finished second in the Bundesliga last season, surpassing Bayern Munich.
