Still holding a grudge against his former coach? Alejandro Garnacho likes post about Amorim’s sacking
Manchester United has decided to part ways with head coach Ruben Amorim. One of the Red Devils' former players, who reportedly had a conflict with Amorim, has made his feelings about the news clear.
Details: Chelsea winger Alejandro Garnacho liked insider Fabrizio Romano’s post announcing that the Manchester club’s management had decided to dismiss head coach Ruben Amorim. Garnacho previously played under Amorim, but the coach didn’t show much faith in the Argentine, which ultimately led Garnacho to make the switch to Chelsea.
As a reminder, Manchester United’s management made the decision to sack Ruben Amorim earlier today. Darren Fletcher has been appointed as interim manager.
It’s worth noting that Manchester United will soon play their first match without Amorim at the helm. On Wednesday, January 7, United will face Burnley away. Kick-off is set for 21:15 Central European Time.
Reminder: The leading candidate to take over as Manchester United’s new head coach is Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner.
