"Still ain’t let shit stop me". Leão's message after standout win over Real Madrid

Milan's victory over Real Madrid was marked by Rafael Leão's first start in three matches. The Portuguese winger contributed with two assists, which prompted him to share a message on social media.

Details: Alongside photos from the match, Leão posted a picture of American rapper Lil Durk with the quote: "I was hurting & hustling at the same time… still ain’t let shit stop me."

While the exact meaning behind this message remains unclear, it’s likely a reference to the decision by coach Paulo Fonseca to keep him on the bench earlier in the season.

Reminder: It was previously reported that Leão had a falling out with his coach, which led to him being benched for matches against Udinese, Napoli, and Monza. Although he started in the Champions League, the two assists in the Real Madrid match were Leão’s first goal involvements since his September 27th appearance against Lecce.
