Tension peaks. Leão determined to leave AC Milan

Despite efforts to maintain a positive front, the tension between Rafael Leão and AC Milan manager Paulo Fonseca has intensified. Leão has criticized Fonseca, who has responded by benching the Portuguese winger, creating a standoff that now seems to be reaching a breaking point.

Details: According to journalist Daniele Longo, Leão is beginning to contemplate a future away from Milan. Potential suitors include Saudi clubs and Barcelona. However, Milan’s stance on his transfer fee remains uncertain. Previously, Milan set his release clause at €175 million, which could make any move challenging. Longo estimates the player’s market value at €50–60 million, though Milan is likely to demand a higher price.

Reminder: Fonseca previously stated there was no conflict between him and Leão and that the decision to bench him was purely tactical.
