"Stepping into the shadows": Toni Kroos admits he wants a break from public attention
Real Madrid legend Toni Kroos, who retired from football earlier this year, revealed on his podcast Einfach mal Luppen that he plans to step away from the public eye for a while.
Kroos stated that he has declined all requests and offers for the upcoming months, intending to spend time away from the constant spotlight. This also likely means that his brother Felix will host the podcast solo during this period.
“This year was incredibly intense and special, but I had to appear publicly far too often. Anyone who knows me understands that’s not something I particularly enjoy. Since February, I’ve felt constantly in the public eye. While that’s generally a good thing, I now want to take a break from it,” Kroos shared.
Recently, Kroos attended the final of the Icon League, a media league he founded, modeled after Gerard Piqué’s Kings League in Spain.
Kroos is also well-known for his charity work, for which he was honored with the Golden Heart Award by the A Heart for Children foundation.
