Raheem Sterling’s transfer to Feyenoord could open the door for another high-profile signing in Rotterdam. The club is reportedly eyeing Jesse Lingard, who remains a free agent after his stint in South Korea and is eager to embark on the next chapter of his career, according to VP.
Head coach Robin van Persie has confirmed his involvement in the negotiations, though most discussions are taking place behind closed doors. Van Persie’s own presence is a key factor, as he previously played alongside Lingard at Manchester United.
