Spanish Football Federation to sign new contract with Luis de la Fuente

Under Luis de la Fuente's leadership, Spain's national team triumphed at Euro 2024, and it appears the coach is set to stay with the team for the long term.

Details: According to Diario AS, despite financial disagreements, the Spanish Football Federation and de la Fuente have reached an agreement on a new contract.

The 63-year-old manager is expected to sign a deal shortly, which will run until the summer of 2028. This would allow him to lead "La Furia Roja" in another European Championship.

De la Fuente's current contract is set to expire in the summer of 2026.

Reminder: At the end of last year, Rafael Luzán was elected as the new president of the Spanish Football Federation.
