Spain coach told how he plans to beat France in the Euro 2024 semifinals
Spain national team head coach, Luis de la Fuente, shared his expectations ahead of the semi-final clash against France at Euro 2024.
"We want to reach the final at all costs; that would make me happy. I have seen the growth of this team and their dedication. If we continue to work with the same mindset, we will have the chance to achieve something significant.
This is a fantastic opportunity. We have done very good work. This match could easily be the Euro final, as both teams are excellent. The smallest details will decide everything. We will try to stay true to our style of play and the qualities that have brought us this far.
We understand how dangerous it can be to lose the ball in difficult situations. This could be one of the key factors. It will be a very open and evenly matched game. One of my greatest privileges is having a wide range of players with different strengths: speed, technique, and varied experience," de la Fuente told UEFA.
In the quarter-finals, Spain defeated the hosts Germany and previously overcame the modest Georgian team.
Today's match between Spain and France kicks off at 21:00 Central European Time.
