Southampton considers appointing Moyes as head coach

After their highly anticipated return to the Premier League, Southampton is struggling to stay competitive in England’s top flight. The Saints only secured their first victory of the season in the tenth round, which has raised questions about the future of current head coach Russell Martin. The club reportedly already has a potential successor in mind.

Details: According to Saints Marching via talkSPORT, Southampton is eyeing the experienced David Moyes for the head coach role. However, they may face competition from other relegation-threatened clubs, including Crystal Palace and Wolverhampton, who are also interested in the former Manchester United manager. Moyes is known for his expertise in helping clubs avoid relegation.

Reminder: Moyes recently expressed his openness to a potential return to coaching.
