"Starting to think about it." Moyes leans towards returning to the managerial role
It seems that rumors about potential managerial changes at West Ham have reached former boss David Moyes. Just a month ago, he expressed a desire to take a break, but now he seems to be reconsidering.
Details: Reflecting on the challenges of being a manager, Moyes mentioned how demanding it was to handle the heavy fixture schedule, though he found it fulfilling. Between the lines, he hinted that he’s contemplating a return to this pace of work.
Quote: "I don't have that urge to get back to management, but I'm starting to think about it. I was doing great for three months because I wanted a rest. Last year, we played 60 games, but when you're a manager and you return on a Thursday night from Belgium or France, you say, 'Oh my, I have to prepare the team - I have to get everything ready.'
There might be discussions, and then you try to get them ready for the Premier League game. The past three years have been tough with such a workload, but I was happy to be in that situation," Moyes said on the Stick to Football podcast.
