South Korea coach Hong Myung-bo urges his team to prepare well for Bafana Bafana who he says are a 'good' team
South Korea coach Hong Myung-bo has admiration and utmost respect for South Africa ahead of their last World Cup Group A match next Thursday.
Myung-bo was shocked by their defeat 1-0 to Mexico this morning but urged his players not to lose hope as they still have a chance to proceed to the next round when they face Bafana Bafana.
"The goal we conceded was regrettable, but there is no need to hang our heads," said Hong after the game.
"The result is disappointing, but I believe the players executed the plans we prepared for this game well.
Back to their game against Bafana, Korea are second in Group A with three points they collected against Czechia, a week ago today.
They need to beat South Africa to ensure they go to the next round and the coach said this game needs to preparation from their side as Bafana are a good side.
"South Africa is a team with good speed," said Hong.
“We need to prepare tactically well.”
That match will be played next Thursday at 3am South African time.
