South Africa's Deputy Minister of Sports Peace Mabi calls the Safa visa debacle a 'shame and an embarrassment'

Peace Mabi has called Safa out as an organisation without vision and one that lacks foresight in the wake of the visa debacle facing Bafana Bafana.

The country's deputy Sports Minister said the association must hold whoever responsible for this accountable.

Bafana Bafana were supposed to leave the country for Mexico this morning but because not everyone in the team has their visas then the flight and travelling plans had to be changed.

This is a setback for Hugo Broos' men as they face Mexico on June 11 in the World Cup opening match.
