Bafana Bafana landed in Mexico much to the relief of the whole team after having to travel a day later due to visa delays.
The South African national team are in North America for the global showpiece, where they will face co-hosts Mexico in the opening game next Thursday.
But before that game they will play Jamaica this Friday having played to a goalless draw against Nicaragua last week in Soweto.
