South African midfielder Gift Links extends his contract at Danish champions AGF
South African born Gift Links has extended his stay at Danish side AGF which will see him remain at the club until 2031.
Links played a pivotal role for the team last season when they were crowned Danish League champions.
That made a lot of clubs in France and US make inquiries for his services but now it seems that nothing concrete came out of those inquiries.
Links now extended his stay to the delight of the club management.
Gift carries AGF’s DNA and the values that we want to be known for,” AGF Football Director Carsten V. Jensen said.
“His performances on the pitch, most recently in the championship season, speak for themselves, but because of Gift’s character and personality, his importance to AGF goes beyond that.
“We are very pleased that he has chosen to extend his time at AGF with a new contract.”
