South African clubs set condition for Percy Tau’s transfer. What is it?

Previously, media reported interest from South African clubs in former Brighton winger Percy Tau. However, so far this interest has not materialized, as Tau is currently a free agent. His return to South Africa remains a possibility, but clubs have set a condition.
Details: According to KickOff, Tau expects a salary of 1 million dollars per year. South African clubs are unwilling to meet this demand due to his lack of goals, and instead offer him around 500 thousand dollars.
There are also rumors about a possible move to Egyptian giants Zamalek, but Tau is not their first-choice option. The club would only consider signing him if winger Ahmed Jafeli leaves on loan, freeing up a foreign player slot for Tau.
At present, his agents are exploring various options to secure the best deal, which most likely will happen if he stays in the Gulf region.
Reminder: It was previously reported that Kaizer Chiefs showed no interest in signing Tau.
