Percy Tau has become a free agent, sparking interest from several clubs eager to secure his signature. However, it appears that Kaizer Chiefs are no longer among the contenders.
Details: According to Siya, the club has lost interest in Tau, despite his current free agent status.
Additionally, former Mamelodi Sundowns striker Katlego Mphela told Soccer Laduma that Chiefs shouldn't limit themselves to signing just one player if they truly want to turn things around—the club needs several new faces who can help Kaizer in the upcoming season.
Earlier reports suggested that Pyramids forward Fiston Mayele could be making a move to South Africa, with Kaizer Chiefs showing interest. However, his current club has no intention of letting him go.
Reminder: Previously, Tau himself, who is currently playing in Qatar, stated that he does not rule out a return to South African football. He is also considering offers from Orlando Pirates.
