South Africa captain injured and will miss the match against India

South Africa captain Temba Bavuma will miss the next match of his team due to injury.

It became known that Bavuma suffered a hamstring injury in the previous game against India. Recall that the then 33-year-old bowler was on the field for about 20 minutes and suffered the injury while chasing the ball. He immediately went for a check-up, which determined Temba had a hamstring strain. A rupture was avoided.

Bavuma will now have to travel to the Sunrisers Eastern Cape, before which the bowler has duties to play in the SA20 cricket league. However, it is not known at the moment if he will be able to play due to injury.

Bavuma will be replaced in the South African national team by Zubayr Hamza. Dean Elgar will take over the role of team captain.
