Soufiane Rahimi continues to dominate in 2024, breaking records with his exceptional performances for Al Ain and the Moroccan national team. In Al Ain’s 4-2 victory over Al Orooba in the UAE Pro League, Rahimi netted his 36th goal of the year, surpassing Mohamed Salah to become the highest-scoring Arab player in 2024.

Rahimi’s achievements include leading Al Ain to an AFC Champions League title and securing the bronze medal at the Paris 2024 Olympics. He also claimed the Golden Boot in both tournaments, reinforcing his status as a top performer.

With 42 goal contributions in 2024, Rahimi now shares second place on the Arab scoring chart with Salah. However, he trails Qatar’s Akram Afif, who tops the list with 51 contributions. Since joining Al Ain, Rahimi has played 118 matches, scoring 55 goals and assisting 32, establishing himself as one of the most consistent Arab players in recent years.
