"Soon everyone will know": Kaizer Chiefs marketing director speaks out on transfers
Given the Amakhosi's recent trend of outgoing transfers, fans have started to wonder when they can expect new signings to arrive.
Details: Jessica Motaung, who serves as the club's marketing and commercial director, represented the Amakhosi today at the launch of the 2025 Toyota Cup, which will take place at Moses Mabhida Stadium on July 26 with a match between Kaizer Chiefs and Asante Kotoko.
During the event, a journalist asked Jessica about Chiefs' transfer policy and whether fans should expect any new arrivals in this transfer window. Motaung replied:
"The team is still working on it, we have another week before pre-season starts.
But certainly there’s a lot of work being done. I am aware of players who are currently signing, so once that is all sorted out, if they are ready to travel to the Netherlands, they will come through.
Obviously, there may be delays with paperwork and visas. Those are some of the things we may have to deal with.
But we’re certainly trying to bring the players who can come to the Netherlands and make sure that they are together.
But certainly, even after that, we’ll be having a lot of tight sessions to make sure people haven’t been part of the tour, they’ll be part of the additional preparations leading up to the Toyota club and also after that.” Jessica told reporters.
Given these statements, it's safe to assume that Chiefs' new signings are just around the corner, and the club will do everything possible to enter the season fully prepared.
