Details: According to The Telegraph Football, Tottenham's management, in the midst of negotiations with Atlético Madrid, has set a firm price for their central defender Cristian Romero, who the Colchoneros are eager to sign.
Reports indicate that any offer below €60 million won't satisfy the Spurs' hierarchy, so Simeone's side will have to seriously splash the cash if they're to secure the Argentine centre-back's transfer.
It's also understood that Diego Simeone himself is personally interested in the move, hoping to land the experienced Argentina international defender.
Last season, Romero made 26 appearances for the club, scoring 1 goal and providing 2 assists. Cristian's contract with Tottenham runs until 2027, while Transfermarkt currently values him at €50 million.
